The Governor’s Blend

A blend that brings out the best of the three most representative varieties produced by Castel Mimi in 2018: Cabernet Sauvignon offers an enormous maturation potential, Feteasca Neagra, one of the oldest local varieties, adds a note of traditionalism, while Saperavi brings impeccable nuances of spices. The taster will be delighted by fine aromas of prunes and saffron. Complex taste with hints of blueberries and black mulberries. Rich aftertaste with spices, coffee, and dark chocolate, that partially come from attentive maturation in limited edition French barriques. This is a truly outstanding wine that can be enjoyed either now, or in the years to come.
