Cucoanele 2020 Dry White Wine

Cucoanele – that’s what people called the boyars’ wives. Due to their pompous outfits and often foreign origins (Constantin Mimi and his sisters were Greek, while his wife, Gulzade, was Armenian), the nobility of Bessarabia was often perceived by the native population as an allogeneic element.
Given this historical detail, we decided to create a blend of Riesling and Pinot Gris, two of the most elegant international varieties, which managed to find their second home on Moldovan soil.
A wheat-colored wine with light green reflections. It begins with sweet floral aromas. The taste offers juicy sensations of apple and pear, with a slightly citrus touch. It has a round and full body. Post taste is complex and long lasting.

  • Food pairings: salads, soft cheese platters and sea fish.
  • Consumption temperature: + 10°C to + 12°C.
