The Governor is a premium wines series that honors the memory of Castel Mimi’s founder. Each wine owes its noble aromas and refined taste to the outstanding harvest of 2018, considered to be on of the best years in the region. The grapes were harvested and selected manually in the vineyards of the Speia village located near the Nistru river. The vineyards possess a unique microclimate and soils composed of chernozem, sand, and gravel. The wines were matured in premium quality Radoux Omega limited edition French barriques. The labels have an exclusive vintage design, that emulates the paper and ink features of tsarist currency from the period in which Constantin Mimi lived.
